Position Overview

Join our team as a Software Engineering Intern- Internal Tooling for an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software development. You will collaborate with experienced engineers, working on real-world projects in an Agile environment. This internship will support the engineering team by helping to maintain and improve internal tools that make our workflows more efficient. This is a learning-focused role designed for early-career students to gain exposure to real-world software development and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in updating and maintaining internal tools and scripts
  • Help troubleshoot basic issues with team tools and document solutions
  • Work with engineers to gather tool requirements and test changes
  • Organize and maintain internal documentation related to tooling
  • Participate in team meetings and take notes on action items
  • Ask questions and learn from teammates to grow your technical skills

Required Skills:

  • Working towards a BS in a related field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Self starter and can work with minimal assistance
  • Previous project experience with Java/JavaScript or front end framework like React and Vue
  • Knowledge of unit testing principles
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with both management and peers

Internships will be 14 weeks and Co-ops will be 6 months in length. 

All Boston-based interns and Co-ops will be asked to be hybrid in our Boston, MA office (2-3 days per week). For those located outside of commuting distance, remote opportunities may still be available.
