Overview
The Vice President (VP), Product is a member of the Product team, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer. The Product team is responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, conducting market research, and prioritizing innovation roadmaps based on customer needs and business goals. They collaborate closely with customers, subject matter experts, technology, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure product releases deliver maximum value to users, customers, and the company.
The Vice President,Product will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the company’s product vision, roadmap, and strategy. This role will lead the Product Management team in the development and delivery of solutions that address complex healthcare challenges, improve revenue cycle efficiency, and add measurable value to health systems and providers. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in healthcare technology and B2B product management, along with a track record of launching successful products that align with customer needs and market trends.
The VP, Product will work closely with Engineering, Solution Consulting, Data, Sales, and Customer Success teams, translating customer and market insights into actionable product enhancements and new offerings. This leader will ensure that CodaMetrix’s solutions stay competitive, scalable, and aligned with the company’s business goals.
Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with CodaMetrix’s mission and long-term goals
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that address customer needs, market demands, and business growth objectives
- Guide market/user research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the market, guiding CodaMetrix’s product priorities and partnership strategy
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle process, from ideation and concept validation to launch and post-launch enhancements
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure product development timelines, quality standards, and feature sets align with customer expectations and business goals
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and competitive differentiation
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and support for product initiatives
- Ensure that customer feedback and insights drive the product roadmap and prioritization decisions, keeping a focus on delivering real, measurable value
- Establish and refine product management processes that enable rapid iteration and a customer-centric approach to product development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Product Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
- Develop career growth and development opportunities within the product organization, promoting knowledge-sharing and continuous learning
- Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and ensure the team is aligned with the company’s strategic goals
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives, using data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Conduct regular product reviews with the executive team, sharing insights on product performance, customer adoption, and roadmap progress
- Drive product profitability by ensuring efficient resource allocation, development, and commercialization strategies
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics that may impact CodaMetrix’s products and strategic direction
- Act as a thought leader within the organization, providing guidance on product-market fit, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of launching and scaling products in the healthcare technology or B2B SaaS space
- Proven experience in leading and scaling a Product Management team, with an emphasis on customer-centric product development and innovation
- Deep understanding of revenue cycle management, healthcare technology, and the needs of health systems strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex customer needs into actionable product features and enhancements
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity and demonstrated success applying product management methodologies and best practices, such as the Product Operating Model and Continuous Discovery
- Ability to command multiple, concurrent workstreams and interdependencies while delivering at a high level
