Position Overview

CodaMetrix is looking for a Vice President of Marketing. This new position will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s overall marketing strategy, with a focus on product marketing and customer referenceability. This leader will be tasked with building a high-performing marketing team, collaborating closely with the executive team, Product, and Sales organizations, and with creating compelling marketing assets that enhance CodaMetrix's market position.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading high-performing marketing teams in fast-growing companies; experience in B2B product marketing; and a deep understanding of how to drive product awareness, market penetration, and customer engagement. They will demonstrate a hands-on approach to designing, implementing and monitoring effective marketing strategies that align with business and market share goals.

The VP, Marketing will report to the Chief Operating Officer, and will manage internal and external resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that position CodaMetrix as a leader in healthcare technology and AI-powered coding automation.
  • Work closely with product management to create product messaging, positioning, and differentiation for new and existing solutions.
  • Lead field enablement and product launches, ensuring clear communication of value propositions, competitive differentiation, and customer benefits.
  • Build and maintain a robust portfolio of customer success stories, case studies, and references that showcase the value and impact of CodaMetrix solutions.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, content and traditional channels to generate leads and drive engagement
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, accountability, inclusivity, and results-driven execution within the marketing team.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve marketing ROI.
  • Establish a formal competitive intelligence approach and readouts to guide product decisions and market positioning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing roles of progressively increasing scope, with 5+ years in a leadership role within the B2B healthcare technology space.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling high-performing, thriving marketing teams, including an active role in recruiting, mentoring, and talent development.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with Product and Sales teams to drive joint goals.
  • Expertise in creating and managing customer reference programs and developing high-quality marketing assets, including case studies and customer success stories.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software.

Location: Boston preferred; will consider other locations with regular travel to Boston
